Guest Speakers: Paul Ambrogio and Joseph Gonzalez

Paul Ambrogio

Paul has been attending Horizon Christian Fellowship for 30 years, where he serves as a leader in the men’s ministry. He also is the lead facilitator for the Horizon men’s leaders weekly Bible Study. Paul keeps busy as the head of the mountain biking life group at Horizon and as a board member for Business Marketplace Ministry. He has a heart for evangelism and volunteered with the Billy Graham Evangelical Association Telephone Ministry for many years and is also a published author. Paul lives in Encinitas and in his free time enjoys playing pickleball with Kristy, exploring the back country on his mountain bike and surfing when the conditions are right.

Paul Ambrogio is a Torrey Pines High School and University of California San Diego graduate with 38 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending. He currently serves as a mortgage advisor with C2 Financial, specializing in purchase, refinance, and reverse mortgages.

Paul has been married to his wife, Kristy, for 26 years, and they have one daughter, Sophia. He has attended Horizon Christian Fellowship for 30 years, where he serves in men’s ministry leadership and leads a weekly Bible study. Paul lives in Encinitas and enjoys pickleball, mountain biking, and surfing.

Joseph “Joe” Gonzales, Jr. 

Joseph was born and raised in San Diego, I later headed to the Bay Area for college. I spent 15 years building a career in tech sales, eventually working remotely. In 2025, I made the leap into entrepreneurship, leaving my job to pursue real estate full-time. I now invest in and flip homes in San Diego and have launched a boutique cabin retreat in North Georgia. Beyond business, I’m active coaching kids’ sports and engaged in my children’s community and school. This journey has been guided by faith, and I’m grateful for the path I’m on.
